MotoIQ Radio: Tragedy at the National Corvette Museum

MotoIQ RadioMotoIQ Radio: Tragedy at the National Corvette Museum

by Justin Banner and Kerryann De La Cruz

Tragedy struck at the heart of Americana yesterday as a large sinkhole opened up at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Kerryann, some MotoIQ guests, and I will talk about that and where the National Corvette Museum goes from here. I'll also be talking about my experience at the King of the Hammers and we may have a special guest come on to talk about the Hammers with me!

It doesn't take the need of being a muscle car or American car enthusiast to know what the world lost when a sinkhole opened up under the National Corvette Museum.

8 iconic cars were lost to it and to make matters worse, the cars that were lost were not owned by the National Corvette Museum. They were all on loan to them, making the loss that much greater.

They ranged from one-off vehicles to the ultra rare to Corvettes that held a special place in the history of the mark. If you haven't seen the video of the hole that developed, it is below.

Finally, Justin will talk about his experience at the King of the Hammers presented by Nitto Tire. Lauren Healy won the event on Nitto Tires and put all other tire manufacturers on notice.

The King of the Hammers is their race! Tune in tonight as we'll have a special guest to talk about the Hammers!
