As the newest series, Project Racer invites you to follow the development of a cup car through the experiences of a neophyte at ground zero. In this project, we will share with you two perspectives of our adventures – the development of an NASA Prepared Touring class race car and the race driver, which would include:

•    The idea of building a Prepared Touring Class race car
•    First time experiences on the racetrack
•    Preparing for a track event
•    Getting involved in professional racing
•    Obtaining a racing license
•    NASA PT rules and regulations
•    All-around development of an competition roadracer

Here you will be able to see all the trials and tribulations that many of us experience as first time road racers. I'll be sharing with you not only the technical side of racing, but the very human perspective of the learning experience through my very own novice blunders and mistakes.

So get up off those bleachers, out of the magazine aisles, and onto the racetrack. Here is your chance to become more than just a bench racer. If you've got what it takes to become a competitive road racer, this series should start you off in the right direction.
