Welcome to my first blog for MotoIQ! This also could be my last blog for MotoIQ so let's at least make it memorable shall we? First off I promised my twitter followers that I would sneak five crazy words that they chose into the blog, so if you see anything that doesn't make sense just go with it. Second, I hate reading the same crap over and over again from everyone about how their race weekend went so I'll try and keep it light hearted but more importantly as real as possible.

This is where I race - in the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. Mazda 3s and MX-5's, BMW 3-Series and 1-Series, VW GTI's and Jettas, and our orange Honda Civics!

The GRAND-AM season is now underway following the Rolex 24 hour weekend. I was fortunate enough to have rides In both the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race and managed to finish third in both events!

And there is our machine in the Daytona garage - the no. 75 C360R Honda Civic Si! For Daytona, C360R brought out five cars.

We arrived on Wednesday and start practice that afternoon in the CTSCC series where I drive the #75 C360R Honda Civic in the ST class. For the last three years this has been my full time ride and I'm excited to continue into my 4th season as the teams lead driver.

I have a new co-driver for 2013, a fast kid named Kyle Gimple. He did a great job by qualifying in fifth. I knew we had a really good car after we led two of the practice sessions.

CTSCC is an acronym for Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge which is a street stock based road racing series that boasts 75-car entry lists in two classes and amazing racing action. When we don't wreck.       

Since Kyle was the one who qualified the car, he started the race, which was two hours and thirty minutes.
