In the end of the Vegas ProAm, Forrest Wang finished on top, with Eric Hill finised Second. Third Place went to Brandon Wicknick.

With it being their Final Round, Vegas Drift also awarded their Top 4 ProAm drivers with Formula Drift Pro Licenses. However, because Third Place points finisher Andy Hately had already earned his Pro License at the Top Drift ProAm Season Finale just a few weeks ago, Vegas Drift was allowed a Wild Card License to be awarded and that went to Garret Nikolich who moved from Pennsylvania to Vegas to earn his Formula Drift Pro License. Not to be forgotten, Alex Villabrille finished Second in points and Brandon Wicknick finished Fourth, also both earning their Pro Licenses.

Points Leader as of Round 5, Vaughn Gittin, Jr., finally ran out of qualifying mojo. Sort of. He was able to pull off a 5th place qualifying run on a track and conditions that were just plain hot, even in the night time.

Conrad Grunewald was able to bring in a Fourth Place Qualifying position in Las Vegas. He was a bit, OK, a lot villainized at Round 5 in Seattle with his run against Daigo Saito. Would he be able to prove his point once again?

Where Vaughn lost his Qualifying Mojo, Robbie Nishida must have found it as the Achilles Radial driver was able to use all the muscle his Garrett Turbo powered 2JZGTE engine could squeeze out. With a Third Place Qualifying position, can he keep this momentum going despite it being so late in the season?

Coming off of his Pikes Peak overall win, in this same Genesis Coupe, Rhys Millen was able to secure Second Place in Qualifying. The "Old Man" has been on a roll since Round 5 and his Garrett Turbo powered Hyundai V6 has been showing its power more and more.

Your Number One Qualifier for Las Vegas was the Norwegian "Cowboy," Fredric Aasbo, in the Need for Speed Scion tC. While Aasbo's year hasn't been stellar, he hasn't let it slow him down. As for the Cowboy, well, he mentioned something to me about Brad Paisley and a large collection. He's also mentioned he liked my accent. Wait, I have an accent?!

Wow that crash with Jim Guthrie is insane!!! Glas he was okay. I was soooo bummed this event was held so late. On the East Coast the action didn't start until about 9pm. Does FD have a website where they play back the event footage?

FYI the Greddy FRS uses a Greddy T67 turbo. It does not use a Garrett turbo.

Flat 4 engines have long exhaust manifolds that get red hot. When oil got on the manifold, it ignited and continued to flame. That was crazy but it looked pretty cool.
