The 999 Motorsports Supersport Dyno Report

A couple months ago we did a full review of the 999 Motorsports Supersport and I'm sure our tech heads here would love to see the dyno charts from their engine development.  The 999 Motorsports team ran the car on Road Race Engineering's Dynapack chassis dyno and worked with Trifecta Performance to develop a more powerful and reliable tune for the GM Ecotec 2.0L LNF engine.

The dyno results show that the team achieved all their goals.  The engine puts out 293 rwhp at 5,200 rpm with a nice broad flat torque curve.  It produces over 300 lb.-ft. of torque from 2,800 to 5,000 rpm with a peak of 339 lb.-ft. at 4,100 rpm.  The team established a shift point of 5,700 rpm and a redline of 6,000 rpm so the stresses on the engine are low, insuring a long engine life span.

The 999 Motorsports team would like to send a huge thank you to Mike Welch and his crew at Road Race Engineering for the excellent professional job they always do!  Now here are the goods:
