Rustoleum dark grey industrial coating was used as the final paint coat. The spray handle is very important to keep your thumb from getting tired and sore when painting large jobs. We are not kidding either!

After priming we sprayed the interior of Project Scion with Rustoleum dark industrial grey coating. Although Rustoleum is slow drying and a little harder to spray than other can paints, it is very durable and chip resistant. When spraying large projects, it's good to get one of those spray can handles that make the can handle like a gun. Otherwise you kill your thumb. Also when spraying inside the confines of a car, use a respirator or you will be sorry! Get the right kind designed for spray paint fumes as well. Ask Annie Sam who got a case of vomiting and fainting after she painted with just a dust mask!

With the interior of the car looking clean and professional, we now start the reassembly of the car and the rest of the build.. Stay tuned, in the next edition of Project Scion, we attack the suspension system.
