Project Defiant1: KA24DE Built Part DEUX! The Devil's Details!
By Justin Banner
Does building a successful engine require thousands of dollars? Not always! Sometimes picking up the throwaway engine is the key to saving on building a great engine! The KA24DE doesn't have the JDM factor, but it does offer more cubic inches, a stouter block, and a powerful aftermarket! Is the garage built KA24DE the key to Defiant1's 350 Crank Horsepower goal? How did I start? Read on to see "the Devil's Details!"

Back in May this year, I took a trip to Dongguan China to train a customer on the Cosworth ECPro ECU and its accompanying software suite. After spending almost a week in a not so Westernized city, it was great to be back in Hong Kong where the old, modern, rich, poor, foreign, and Chinese all come together in a densely populated peninsula. Forunately I was introduced to some locals who were cool enough to show me around for the 2.5 days I had free. I think I saw more E92 M3s and R35 GTRs on that trip in Hong Kong than I've seen in Beverly Hills collectively in the last three years.

I just recently completed Eibach lowering springs and anti-sway bars upgrade on my 08 Infiniti G37S Coupe. My question is when and where should I use threadlocker (red/blue) or Loctite? Different sources say different things, but is there a rule of thumb for applying these adhesives?
Thanks,
Kelvin

The serpentine belt idlers on the 4B11T do not last very long. In fact they will probably not even last the factory recommended service interval. Read inside for the idlers you want to replace them with to ensure the belt doesn't break and you don't smoke an engine prematurely.

A trick, tiny, high flowing, new wastegate from Turbosmart Australia. I used a pair on the Sierra Sierra EVO. Good enough for Sierra Sierra, plenty good for you (or those of us with normal cars). The tiny package size means you can fit this wastegate in almost any engine bay.

Project Garage, Part 3: New Flooring
By Sarah Forst
Last installment’s bright lighting only illuminated how horrible the concrete floors were starting to look. From oil changes and swapping brake rotors to cam installs and shock inserts, Project Garage was getting more business than a Pep Boys Fast and Furious sale.

BNR32 Skyline GT-R Stage 1, Part 2
by Eric Hsu
The Stage 1 build of my personal BNR32 Skyline GT-R is a 500+whp, pump gas, street car designed for good throttle response and mid range torque for smokin cars on the street and track alike. Anyhow, this is part 2 of the Stage 1 build where I will break down in detail why I chose the parts I did.
