Well the SCCA, NASA and several manufacturers of sub compact cars, known as the B Segment have gotten together to support a new affordable racing class.

2011 NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill Race Recap

The U.S. Air Force NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill completed its 9th running this past weekend at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, CA. With a record breaking number of entries, 83 racecars took the green flag for the longest sports car endurance race in North America.

The quick headline is this: Ford driver Jari-Matti latvala won the battle in Wales and Citroen driver Sebastien Loeb won the 2011 World Rally Championship. It was Loeb's eighth straight.
