MPTCC Willow Springs

MPTCC Round 2:  Willow Springs International Raceway

Only two races into the 2013 MPTCC season and we already had a close battle for championship positions.  No doubt Edik Stepanyan in the M-Factory Acura Integra had a solid grasp on first place after winning both races at Autoclub Speedway, but there was a fight for third place going on between Michele Abbate in the Scion Racing Scion tC and Steve Rockwood in the MotoIQ Project Infiniti G20 Racecar!  Justin Taylor was only six points behind first and after watching Edik's taillights the first two rounds, he was ready to put the Rockstar Garage Honda S2000 in the top podium spot.

39th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach

We're back to the Roar by the Shore for another weekend full of 4 wheeled entertainment.  The gourmet food trucks were out in full force and the libations were flowing, but even then it was very difficult to keep our eyes off the on-track action.  There really is something to keep every type of motorsports enthusiast or gear head entertained for hours on end. The 39th annual Toyata Grand Prix of Long Beach showcased racing from the American Le Mans Series, Firestone Indy Lights, IZOD Indy Car Series, and the Pirelli World Challenge.

World Time Attack Challenge 2012 - Final Competition Day

The Australian teams kicked ass and took names on the first day of World Time Attack competition.  Nemo racing oblitirated Cyber Evo's 2011 championship time and Tilton Racing was not far behind.  Would anyone be able to catch Nemo Racing?  Better yet, would Cyber Evo make it on track and defend it's title against the Aussie power houses?

ALMS - Laguna Seca Race Weekend

The most exciting racing series in America, in your author's humble opinion, made its second to last stop of the 2011 season this past weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. With only two races left in the season, the remaining 55 points available (25 for this race and 30 for Petit Le Mans) are ever more important for the few teams left in their respective championship races.
