Very cool! Car looks super quick and sounds great. I see FXMD added a second dash to the car. Anyone know what it's for? It doesn't appear in the feature MotoIQ did a year ago.

It looks like 2 different brands of dashes. To speculate, it would indicate a compromise in the ability to read the other's communications stream or the ability to read a controller on the car that is not compatible with the other unit.

When dealing with some of the more club specific items, it is easier to set up than a professional engineering tool, but it limits the full expandability and future proofing of a unit.

^ I agree. Likely the case as brands have proprietary interfaces etc.... For example the World FWING 2.0 has a one off setup they built to allow the Motec and Stack systems to "play nice with one another".

The effort in involved in driving in time attack along with the counter steering is amazing to me. The car's nose is smooth but only because of the amazing reaction time of the driver and sawing the wheel.

Oh and we need the FXMD, SIerra SIerra, GST throw down soon! Perhaps a special event.... We just need Don King to promote the thing!

Really good aero balance helps too! Looked similar to the handling characteristics of an F1 car in that you often see F1 drivers have to make very quick corrections like Tyler and the car stays relatively stable. My guess is the aero downforce keeping things stable after the tires loose some grip.

I think the question many have asked is "what could Billy have done"...

"What will Sierra Sierra do?" Eric, you gotta hop the game ! Tell Richard and the boys to cut some fat off Christine :)
Props to the FXMD crew, great time. I predict to see a 1:39.XXX in the near future.

@ Khiem.... I agree on the aero. Granted those cars appear even more stable under correction so this (to me) appears more extreme. Whatever it is I loved watching it for sure. Honestly super smooth laps from a driver POV are not as exciting to watch as they usually appear effortless (even they we all know they are not).

I look forward to more top tier time attack action and want to see Christine out more in force or perhaps a new team emerge.... :)

Since they ran on E85 and low boost, my question is what could they have done on full boost... their time at Infineon was fast enough to be on pole for ALMS GT2
