About Vibrant Performance

Vibrant Performance is a division of Vibrant Power Inc. established in 1985.

Vibrant Power Inc. is a global leader in the design and production of exhaust and vibrant control components, serving the Automotive and Transportation industries. Vibrant has been supplying our products to OEM and Aftermarket companies in more than 50 countries.

Vibrant Performance was established in 1997 to design and produce Exhaust and Induction components for the Sport Compact performance market. Over the years their product offering has become substantially more diversified and they now cater to the Race car, Hot Rod, Muscle Car, Truck, Motorcycle and even the Marine market.

Several years ago, Vibrant identified a glaring void in the performance aftermarket for a reliable single source for hard to find fabrication components. Since then, they have made it a mandate to fill this void and provide a complete line up of competitively priced, hard to find, high quality exhaust and induction fabrication components.

VanJen Clamping System
The lastest in flexible, banded clamp connector solutions. Constructed our of T6061 aluminum and featuring a quick release clamping mechanism, this clamp provides a leak-free, modular connection that is ideal for a pressurized air application. This clamp is also capable of withstanding up to 110 psi operation pressure and temperatures up to 400 deg F.

Synchronic Blow-Off Valve
Blow Off Valves are a critical component on any vehicle that is equipped with a turbocharger. Choosing a high quality BOV will provide better boost, throttle response and ensure the turbocharger reliability over the long term. Synchronic universal BOV offer a fast acting design which allows it to function as a blow off, diverter/bypass or pop-off valve. The patended Synchronic technology eliminates the diaphragm that is typically used in other BOV’s.

Reinforced Silicone Connectors
Vibrant Performance silicone connectors are hand wrapped and feature 4-ply reinforcement. These connectors are capable of withstanding high temperature and high boost conditions without swelling and bursting.  Available in long straight sections, transition hoses, hump hoses, 45 deg and 90 deg elbows and transition elbows. These connectors are rated for temperatures ranging from -65 deg F to 350 deg F.

Stainless Steel Flexible Couplings
Vibrant is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of Stainless Steel Flexible Couplings. These are engineered to isolate vibration generated by the engine, thereby relieving stress on your vehicle’s exhaust system. They are also designed to reduce premature cracking of manifold and downpipes helping extend the life of your other exhaust components.

Available in Turbo Flex (with interlock liner), Stainless Steel Bellow Assemblies (with solid liner), Standard Flex (with inner braid liner) and Standard Flex (without an inner liner).

Air to Air Intercoolers
Vibrant Air to Air Intercoolers feature a bar and plate construction that is designed to deliver maximum cooling efficiency while minimizing pressure drop. Bar and Plate intercoolers deliver significant cooler, denser air to your engine, reducing detonation and maximizing your turbo’s power. Available with or without tig welded cast aluminum end tanks in three cores sizes.

All Vibrant intercooler assemblies feature a part of T304 stainless steel brackets for easier custom installation.

  Vibrant aluminum exhaust

Why You Can't Make an Aluminum Exhaust...and Why We Did It Anyways

Aluminum gets weaker at the elevated temperatures that exhaust systems see, but with some careful design, its still possible to make the tail section from aluminum, saving dozens of pounds.

How to Build a Stainless Steel Exhaust

A lot of times a pre made exhaust just wont do it.  You might have a car that no one makes an exhaust for.  You might want to make a big diameter turbo exhaust for a car that never came turbocharged.  You might want to make a special exhaust for your own special requirements.

Hard as F*ck!- Mike Essa's BMW Z4 Drift Monster

In the 2010 Formula D season, GSR Autosport/Nitto Tires driver Mike Essa grabbed plenty of Media attention with his shrieking V10 M5 powered E92 BMW.  The BMW was probably the best sounding car in Formula D and looked pretty killer as well.  The car's baller profile, killer looks and glorious sounds made Mike a darling of the media.

Update!  Matt Powers Formula D LS7 Powered S14

We last left Matt Powers in the middle of retrofitting his car for the 2011 Formula D season.  We dropped back in on Matt earlier this week to see how he was doing and were pleased to observe a bunch of progress being made.

TESTED: Synapse Engineering's Synchronic Blow Off Valve and DV Diverter Valve

Not just any piston actuated control valve, Synapse's BOV has an actuator piston with two substrates, basically two individual pistons coaxially divided on one piston head--a stepped piston.
