Unfortunately the Berk Technology BMW 135i will be under the knife getting some much needed upgrades and TLC. As for myself, well I will still be there hopefully driving something else (if I can find an open seat) or just hanging out. |

Hey Mike! .... what would my friends down in San Diego need to do to enter your MotoIQ race series for this event? Or any future events?
They heard of Scott running my old race car in your series. { Thank you Scott!! love seeing the car where it belongs! on the track! }
I pretty sure you remember who they are.

This is the mininum of what they need...
car with 6-point roll cage including side impact protection for the driver
race seat and harness
race suit, helment, HANS type device, race shoes and gloves
fire extinguisher mounted in the cockpit
That's pretty much the minimum to race.

Update for Everyone!
We will be running two races at the Liberty Grand Prix event weekend...
Race #1, Saturday 8pm
The Saturday race is "The Liberty Grand Prix". We anticipate there being more than enough light out to NOT need headlights. Sunset won't happen until 8:10pm... so no worries there...
Race #2, Sunday, 1pm
This makes the Liberty Grand Prix weekend a double-header, thus double the points... for the same $350 entry fee! Anyone who misses this round could be thrown for a loop in the Championship standings for sure!
Let's get the word out to everyone we know to enter this race, maintain the momentum from Auto Club Speedway, and put on a GREAT show at Willow Springs!

Thanks Nikolas! Well that leaves Fro out. Sorry Rockwood! Hahaha
But Hopefully JP will get the necessary equipment. He has all of that stuff, except the HANS device and race suit I believe. Mounting a fire extinguisher shouldn't be a problem. And hopefully he can fill out that Stars program sheet Mike posted a few weeks back. I personally have the drive and determination to race myself. But with a stay at home wife and 2 children..... funds are limited.
Sold my truck and trailer, and sold the race car to Scott.  But its all good, new chapter in life has begun!
I can come PIT for Steve, Martin, Annie, Mike......... any of these friends would glady accept my help!

Update on the Saturday race:
We will more than likely start the race at 7:45pm.. ending around 8:15pm
Sunset for July 2nd is at 8:11pm. There will be plenty of ambient light for the duration of the race!
You don't have to sit this one out Kojima!

You're welcome to come out and pit for us anytime, and we're probably going to make every race.
And have Redline check out Pang's cage before he buys his sausage suit, since it may not be legal (I remember his front legs were unconventional). |

Rockwood, you are screwing up Martin's points. If you let him drive, he might have been second in points I think. Annie is probably out untill after her honeymoon. Andy Hope is going to be in. I am pretty sure Robi is going to run. I hope the Focus and Fit come back. |
