I just got my daughter her first tool set and was shocked to find that harbor freight now costs just as much as craftsman! My race box is all harbor frieght so no one would want to rip it off but it wirks great!

Well.... Either your harbor freight sucks, or your sears is CHEAP! I have a toolbox that I throw in the back of the DSM when I'm out and about that has a 1/2" socket set, screwdrivers, wrenches, some other various misc. All harbor freight since it's so cheap!

Been to Sears lately? I was telling Christa that Craftsman tools have only gone up a little in price in the last 30 years. I got her the same toolset I got as a kid, cost me $149 or something and hers was $199 and it came in a nice 3 drawer box!

Harbor frieght tools used to be a joke. When I was a teenager my buddy bought a tool set and all the wrenches and sockets were breaking. So we mashed ito little pices with a hammer and returned it. The metal was like brittle pot metal. Now they have lifetime guarantee stuff and it seems to do just fine. My away race tool box is mostly harbor freight and I havent had a single problem. When I had good tools people would borrow them at the track and never return them. Now I leave the craftsman and snap on stuff at home!
