Is email notifications for subscribed threads in the works? I noticed much of the "forum tracking" under "My Profile" is greyed out.

Yes, we definitely want to make things as easy as possible. Leme see what button I can jab with a stick to fix that for you.

How's the progress on this area? Last time I checked using firefox, I still couldn't access it. An option to automatically subscribe to threads that you posted on would be nice as well.

You can now subscribe to topics so that checkbox should be un/non grey. The autosubscribe is more of a user preference I'll have to run by the boss

I know you guys have certain things turned off for the time being, for good reasons. But I'd like to at least have everyone's location displayed. Nice to know where you're all from!

Yes, we can do this.

1. While your in the Forums go to My Settings.
2. in the about me tab click edit at the bottom
3. enter your location

It's doubtful many users filled this out though so it might be just you and me for a while.

I'll wrap my brain around it.

No that wasn't dumb at all. There's a little spill over from the forum user profile and our site profile. The location field happens to be one of those profile pieces that is located in multiple spots. I agree that it would be nice to know where users are generally located and I'm hopeful we can put this information in one spot and have it work rather than having users go back to re-fill this information which they are un-likely to do.
