Joe says the car is gripping in the corners better than it ever did..... can't wait to see it run.

Joe says the ECU has adjusted to the tuning I did and that it's pulling way harder that it was right off the dyno. We'll be back on the dyno after the race so I can tweak the cam timing tables some more and refine it some more. I made a 3" air intake and welded a MAF flange directly to the piping, it was enough that I had to tweak the K tables to balance things out and I need to tweak some of the compensation tables in the part throttle ranges.

Coming back from the alignment shop, he said it'dl roll the Hoosier R comps over in 2nd gear if you roll onto the throttle.

It had some horrible tramlining issues leaving the alignment shop. I had him take out 1/2 a degree camber and set toe to 0, problem solved. That may not be ideal, but we'll tweak it for the rest of the season and dial it in. Less static camber should help braking and acceleration traction.

He said it's never gripped so hard in the corners.

"Just finished the alignment and corner weighting. We have -3.7 camber fr/-1.4 rear on the bended rear axle, 4 deg of caster and 10 numbers toe out in fr.

The final weight with me is 2713. That is 6lbs heavier than the QR25DE when we ran nationals in Sept at 2705lbs. All we did since was remove the blower and heater core.

Our corner weights are ridiculous, within 1lb cross weights

With VQ, no driver (2519lbs)
RF 775 RR 505
LF 771 LR 467

With VQ and driver (me), 1lb diff cross weights
RF 808 RR 521
LF 835 LR 549

Old QR25
RF 780 RR 517
LF 837 LR 570

I have some horrid bump steer I need to clear before Friday (fixed), but the car hooks like no other FWD I've driven and is super quick out of corners. I'll have video from the track."

we have a 12 car field for the Road Atlanta event the 19th and 20th. All the problems are sorted out post 'crank sensor failure crew chief not at the track' shake down in Savannah at Roebling Road. We've got some new poly LCA bushings to go in because the Nismo hard bushings are TOAST and and have been for a while. Back on the alignment rack aftertr the new bushings, loosen the sub frame bolts and do a sub frame shift to correct an uneven caster split. This will be the last race on 225/40/17's, from now on we are taking 245's when we win contingency tires. We managed to pick up 2 tires even with a completely jacked car at Roebling.

Competition looks like this:

'04 Merryman, Skip 2002 Honda S2000 Gray TTB
06 Oseroff, Jonathan 1993 Bmw 325 IS Blue TTB
07 St John, Kevin 1990 Ford Mustang grey TTB
111X Hill, Clyde 1995 BMW M3 purple TTB
121 Agostini, Sean 1998 BMW M3 Green TTB
20 Miller, Robert 1998 Ford Mustang White TTB
202 Parson, Everette 1986 BMW 535 white TTB
42 Hedberg, Eric 2001 BMW M3 Carbon B TTB
67 Muscarella, Jeff 1995 BMW M3 Silver TTB
73 Crace, David 1973 Porsche 911RSR White TTB
99 gray, robert 1994 ford mustang teal TTB
72 Ippolito, Joe 2002 Nissan SE-R Silver TTB

Road Atlanta is an amazing track and the car is much better than last year.

Our TTE track record is 143.37, the current TTB record is 1:37.85. So we need 5.5 seconds. Our old record in TTE was 146.xx and we put 3+ seconds on it with some minor suspension changes and no extra power, were up 80+ whp and 80+ wtq now, on a real suspension, with more suspension and alignment changes, so the record is within reach.

I'm planning on building an B14 200sx for next year for myself. I was going to go with a destroked QR motor, but the 2008/2009 290hp FWD VQ35DE(HR) motor has got me reconsidering.

2400lbs 280-285whp..... perfect.

blah blah blah, never ending story.......

car has been sitting......... freaking job and responsibilities keeping us from playing

The B13 SE-R got caged for Lemons race in Louisiana..... I'm too big to be crawling around in a car welding upside down. (this car is pimp, traded a 12 pack of beer for it, picked up the drive train for $300, it's too nice for Lemons)

Race may 22nd @ robeling road in Savannah Ga for the B15.

2 page spread next issue of Nissan Sport Magazine....shhhh ..... crunch time...... RUSHING IS RACING

the car has a tag and insurance......... it's far from street legal, but it could still pass a Georgia emissions test, and there is no safety inspection here either.

There are a few guys running around with VQ35 swaps in their street cars, granted there will be a few codes that might keep it from passing emissions.

I haven't seen a full list of invitees to the event and I have no idea if they release a list.
