We know of ALOT of guys coming into the series next year, so look for announcements soon. I simpy want to give as much attention as possible to EVERYONE who will be participating.

Schedule? Sanctioning Body?

We are deciding which cars to run in what series in 2012.

Really need a good guess of How many races? When? Where? With what sanctioning body(bodies)?

But my understanding, is that the MPTCC will be sanctioned by MotoIQ, with events hosted within the events of various other groups (Global Time Attack, NASA, POC, North American Festival of Speed, etc.)

I believe MotoIQ is aiming for 5-6 races, all on the "West Coast"

I have no ownership stake in the series whatsoever. I am simply an active member of the "collective" working together toward a common goal of establishing and growing the MPTCC however I possibly can.

I will be having discussions with Martin @ MotoIQ, Mike @ MotoIQ, Jonathan @ APD, etc.. about a schedule.. and getting something released in the next 3-4 weeks.

I can tell you that there will be ZERO event conflicts with Formula Drift in 2012, as a HOST of those guys want to race in the MPTCC.

Just wanted to say the MPTCC@LMVS hosted by NAFOS was an awesome event. The Team and our driver loved the venue and the spirit of competition most of all. After finishing 2nd overall in points the team has decided to pursue development of a new platform. Please let us know a tentative schedule so we can set up some personal deadlines for the build.

I hope the guys at MotoIQ will be able to release a schedule soon! Keep in mind that I am only assisting Martin, Mike and the gang this coming year. The only event date I control, is the NAFoS event, which will take place either the weekend before SEMA or the weekend after SEMA. Still trying to lock that down! (I prefer the weekend just before SEMA myself)...

I've seen a preliminary schedule so far.. with about half of the dates locked in.. waiting to hear back from some of the groups we wish to run with as a "support series", so to speak. Fingers crossed we can have something concrete the first week of January! :-)

Hey Ryan, Road Atlanta is not an actual race weekend, we will be running some exhibition laps with GTA during the Formula Drift weekend, to help promote the series!
If you want to come out and run in GTA we would love to have you there!
