This is the ballistic woven polyethylene sheet that Nasacar COT splitters are made from and are used to armor Humvees and stuff. Supposed to be light, tough and 1/10 the cost of carbon.
I wanna get stuff but can't find any way to get it retail and the company that makes it won't return my email or calls. |

Whata you want it for? The COT splitters are 78 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide. At about $25 bucks apiece including shipping they may be a cheap solution for you.
I couldn't find it retail.

If you want to tape together a pattern on some sheets of paper and send them to me, I can lay them out on the splitter and see if they fit. ??

indeed, as great as this stuff sounds im suprised that they have exactly zero distributors. If Mike Kojima doesn't rate a return phone call I guess the rest of us are screwed, at least for now.

Hey Mike. I stay about an hour away from Charlotte. I can run to some of the shops and talk to a couple of the guys I know that work for them and see how to get a hold of some. Anyway how much material do you need. Matter of fact I'll be going into Charlotte this afternoon. So pm me or just post on this thread. |
