eBay to-day:

Yellow

Red

If no one buys that yellow one before Sunday I might just take it.

Why would you do that, I bought mine for $15 a piece including shipping.

Use the link I posted and talk to the guy.

1/4 to 3/8ths inch. I'll have to measure one for its exact thickness.

I wanted to ask a simple question. I am having the worst luck finding a brace for my splitters. I've looked everywhere to find something simple and clean like this. I wondered if you could supply me with the name of the business that did the splitters for you.  Or if you know of another vendor that sells any type of similar bracing. I am having the worst luck trying to find something.

Thanks in advance.

By the way the spitter looks very nice. Keep up the good work.

They are a very common part from circle track vendors.

Longacre has a number of options. I don't think I have the packaging from the ones I purchased anymore. But there are plenty of options out there.

Here are a few pictures of our front splitter and rear diffuser. Everything was made in house using alumalite. It is tough to see, but we have sealed off the open areas around the intercooler and radiator and added a Gurney Flap to our hood vent to ensure maximum cooling efficency. We will be switching to an Evo 9 hood soon as the vent is larger and has an improved design to evacuate air. We are very open to constructive critisism as this is our first foray into aero. Thanks!

Yeah, same here. Pretty funny.

Good construction. I am assuming you are runnig a side exhaust, but I love the simple style of the diffuser. Good job all around from here.

Thank you for the compliments. The exhaust exits below the car and is very short to reduce excess weight. I have a question, would I improve the diffuser's function by venting the bumper? See attached photo.

Yeah that thing looks mean. not sure what the point of venting the bumper would serve but I am a newb when it comes to aero. I really like the custom diffuser I would like to do something like that for my car for looks and function as the rear valance is just blah...

Where did you get the alumalite?

We get the alumalite from a local plastics supplier.

I will have to do some calling around then. I found full sheets online but freight would almost double the price. Also where did you get the support rods for the front splitter? and what thickness is the front splitter?

If the car's underside has a flat bottom or steps there holes in the rear bumper aren't going to help.

If that rear bumper doesn't connect to a flat underside you should just make the rest of the underside of the car flat so the diffusor can do its job. Or you could raise the flat part of the diffusor to where the x's are and extend the fins lower.

We can't do a complete flat bottom due to the rules in the series we compete in, but thank you very much for the insight!
