Some peoples driving habits. I could go on for a while about it, but I'll leave it there.

When driving: The driver that is always 2 inches from the bumper of the car in front of him on the freeway, even though the next lane over is free of cars and can be used to pass.

When riding my motorcycle:  The guy who happens to be crossing the street and does the "wheelie, yo" motion with his hands when youre waiting for the light to turn green.

How about aggressive drivers in crappy cars. I don't like wild drivers regardless, but from a guy in a Kia or a minivan plowing through traffic on the morning commute it's just that much worse!

Most of the drivers here in Boston. Especially the ones who think that a 10 year old BMW is justification for breaking every traffic law and social convention. That and those stupid eco friendly appliances here in my appartment. I'm sure eventually someone somewhere can make something envioronmentally friendly and functional without modification.

Narrow minded enthusiasts who don't get it. People who own 4 desirable reparable cars and won't sell them, or want to sell them at 10 times the price. Rust. People who slow to half the speed limit because its raining. People who refuse to drive the speed limit. People who block you when you pull out to pass. People who speed up and make it harder to pass them. Rust. Front wheel drive cars. Understeer.

The seemingly unstoppable bloat we've experienced in cars over the past 20-30 years.

Whitetail deer and skunks in the middle of my road ways, having some of the best driving roads in the country clogged with some of the worst drivers in the world, morons with Harley Davidson's who remove factory pipes and replace them with megaphone pipes, people who sleep at green lights, Grandparents towing their Grand Cherokee behind their motor home(they forget its back there when changing lanes), the fact that when the economy takes a downturn, the very first thing to suffer is proper highway maintenance, planned obsolescence (if you have ever fixed one of the generals vehicles you understand this), that stick, ball, and steroid sports get all the programming on television and that the Speed channel airs monster trucks and Nascar exclusively (They have airtime in the middle of the day to program for UTI infomercials, that time could be better spent on international rally coverage or maybe scca runoffs).

People here in Boston not staying in their lanes. It's not totally their fault, though, because the lanes are so narrow (like the parking spaces) my van generally has 2" of clearance on both sides (i'm assuming it's why there aren't as many trucks here as the midwest) and most of the lines are so faded all it takes is a light rain at night and they disappear. I wonder where all of this tax money goes, they sure get enough of it...

And basically all of what you guys said. Especially the car bloat (why should an RX8 weigh 3,000 lbs?) and the rattles. It just takes a few hundred metal plates in the road (equivalent to 10 miles of Boston driving) and all of the oak wood trim comes loose on an old van.

I hate all of the stupid reasons people have for driving places and how those stupid trips all add up and make heavy traffic. I picked a guy up the other night to take him down the street to get change for a $50 and then back down the street back to his house. Or I will take someone to 3 different stores to try to find a certain brand of something and then back to the first store.

People that slam their brakes on before they signal or just don't signal at all.

Oh and drunk drivers! If you can't even walk why do you think you can drive a car?

Yeah that gets old really quick, more so when there is heavy traffic and they pull over, stop block everyone behind them... rather than just merging.

the high cost of gas...down here the lowest octane you can get at the pump is 93 RON and the highest is 100 RON...costs an arm and a leg to fill the tank
