I guess I will add my little Honda to this group of good looking cars. Most of them definitely look pretty sick. I don't know if you guys use imageshack or not but here goes.

First attempt at a custom hood. Thanks to Ryan at Onemotion.us
Cooling system hoses were a little tricky to work out.
Never pie cut anything before this and never made a Y-pipe before this. Thanks again to Ryan at Onemotion.us
Modified Circuit Sports 3ince cat back. This thing sounds crazy at WOT bouncing off the rev limiter. Installing catalytic convertors
in the very neer future.
Got my hands on some carbon fiber panels... So I made cool stuff.
Had the original seats re-wrapped in black tweed with red stitch.
Badass 240sx ya know...
Brandon
Looks like a very cool project so far. How does the VQ feel in that chassis? Have you corner weighted the car and if so what were the specs?

^ The VQ brought the car to life. Factory 350z rear end is 3.56 about and I still have the welded 4.08 (240sx factory diff.) which makes the car extremely responsive. Lots of torque compared to your usual 240 swaps. Haven't corner weighted the car yet but the VQ weighs about what the KA24 did however the weight is shifted back a little and the trans. is really light too so balance should be good. The car feels right at home during spirited driving... |

Very cool swap.
I like the idea of a having a super responsive naturally aspirated setup. |

What I started with in August 2011: Where I am now: 1986 Mustang SVO 2.3 turbo-4. Replaces the one totaled in commute traffic in July. I hope to have it done by the end of the month. |

Ya. Split drivetrain makes for a 51/49 balance. Lots of fun on Apalacian backroads.
Nice 240 BTW.

Admittiedly these are not the "cool pics" you asked for, but I think they show the character of the project. It's the slowest progressing project ever. My 72 Datsun 510 that I've had since October of 2005. There are project pics and details in both the Mitsu and Nissan areas on MotoIQ. Maybe some day it will be mobile and see the road :/
The day I picked it up.
The heart of a DSM.
The current pictures suck. Maybe I'll roll it out and take some decent shots :/ |
