I'm a mechanical engineering sr in undergrad and I'm going to toss my hat in the ring for ME....

Me, I'm going engineering management or perhaps MBA. My internships have been more into project management and systems engineering and that's where I'm wanting to take my career in the long term...

I will say though that I will one day come back and further my skills as an ME just because it's all so fascinating.

Oh and remember, an ME is always better at pretending to be an EE then the other way around!

And engineers make better business people than business people make engineers

Funny sayings.

I am almost able to sign up for classes (Thursday most likely), but two of the classes that I'm trying to take next semster (composite structures and fracture mechanics) are already full/closed. Hopefully I can coherce the professors into letting me in anyway considering both of them wrote recommendation letters for my grad application.

It will suck if I can't get into any of the classes that I need.

spdracerut: How'd you get the MotoIQ Engineer tag?

In my career, I have found that engineers and ex engineer are usually better at everything than anyone else.

Very cool. The people on this forum and their experience in the automotive industry never ceases to amaze me.

It sounds almost a little pretentious, but going through engineering school really does teach a method of learning and problem solving that gives us an upper hand over the liberal arts folks!

Plus, how cool is it to build robots for class!
