I doubt the Evo x manifold will be flanged for the T-25.

I pray it is not a megan racing or similar brand manifold.

Just get an Evo X stock turbo unless the manifold is flanged for a T3.

Well there is a guy here that have a greedy manifold for 600 usd i was thinking to buy it but the cost is too much for a used manifold. so i plan to build one instead.

HEY SO DO YOU THINK THE STOCK 3SGTE RODS WILL HOLD THE 400HP MAX POWER ON THE ENGINE? OR DO I NEED EAGLE RODS?

To be reliable at those levels it might be a good idea. BuT to then get them shaved to accept the 2jz pistons seems silly

He was saying it seem's a little odd to spend $400 on rods, to have to spend another $x to shave them rather than spending the money once and calling Wiseco/JE/Arias to get a set of pistons made up.

The stock rods should be fine depending on how you get it tuned as far as how hard and where the torque comes in. If you are a self tuning amateur like myself give yourself as much leeway as possible.

Though i can see you have a hard head like me. You are going to do it your way regardless lol

lol hahah thank. well the pistons are free. and i have a friend who have a set of the 3sgte rod and i will collect it without paying. but the rods are stock. however i dont want to put them in if they can handle the power. well the 2jzgte pistons is what i have on hand. and i think they can handle that power since they came form a 3L engine and can run over 400 hp stock.

so i spoke to a technical guy here in guyana and he was telling me that i dont need to do all of that rework on my engine. he told me just bolt on a turbo and use proper managemnet an di can get 300hp to the wheels easy.
he said used the GT2871R turbo
greddy oil cooler
AEM water/methnol kit.
Mishimoto intercooler with piping.
AEM ems4 ECU.
or AEM FIC.
A set springs
A set ARP head bolts.

i dont think that can work what do you think?

11.5:1 compression + boost on pump gas = YOU as a driver need to be REALLY careful and have a REALLY good tuner. Your gas station also needs to NEVER give you a bad batch of gas.

Apexi does a 1.8mm head gasket that drops the compression ratio to 10.3:1

Be wary of running a water injection tune all the time. There will be a point where you will run out of water no matter how careful you are about filling it up. If the AEM has a map switching ability then it's not so bad.

yeah a know well i have the 2JZTE PISTONS ALREADY AND I GOT THE 3SGTE rods too. it fits in the piston withou out machining but i dont think it have enough thrust movement. The pin fits good in the 3SGTE rod eye. how ever i dont know if the crankend is the same as the altezza. so i am currently looking to see. does any one have pictures of a 3sge piston?
