I found someone near me selling front and rear brakes from an R32 GT-R.  It's a lot cheaper than any of the other upgrades I was planning on, so I'm ready to jump on the parts.  Most everywhere else I've checked, most people haven't done or heard of the R32 swap.  Is it as straight forward as the Z32 swap?  I would really like to use the Z32's aluminum uprights, so will the R32 brakes work on the Z32 suspension (I would think yes, but I don't know for sure)?  Also, which master cylinder should I use?  Will the Z32's work or do I need an R32 MC?  On the Z32, you have to be creative with the routing of the e-brake cables to make the e-brake even work.  Is there a similar trick to getting the R32's e-brake to work?  Finally, when I have to inevitably replace the brake pads, will I need to use GT-R pads, or is there some other pad that's actually available in the US (the seller is offering NISMO pads)?  I have never seen an R32 swap in person, since everyone near me is happy with the Z32 brake pacage, so I'm pretty unfamiliar with the whole idea.  This sounds like a good deal, so I'd like to go for it if it's not too much trouble.

The same as the Z32 swap but the front R32 rotors are slightly bigger and thicker. The rear R32 rotors have slightly differerent vanes but are the same size. The pads are exactly the same as Z32 pads.

Nissan motorsports carries replacement rotors if you need them. We like performance friction pads.

My roomate has them on his Z32.  In addetion to what Mike said, they are directional rotors as well, which most Z32 "stock replacement" rotors are not.

Thanks for the help. I bought them, painted them, and am now installing them on my car. They're 10 pounds a corner heavier and barely clear my wheels, but they look absolutely awesome and I hope they stop as good they look.  Fronts are done, and here is a before and after (hadn't finished scraping the paint of the letters when I shot this, but I did before I installed them on the car):

Ok, I'm working on the rears now (takes a long time when you can only do it on school breaks), and I'm in a bit of a jam. Long story short, I installed the e-brake assembly and with everything tightened down, the back of the wheels studs hits the pin that aligns the drums and prevents the hub from spinning. I need to remove everything, but that pin is the one that goes through the upright and is held on with the nylock nut. It was super hard getting it in and now I'm not sure it will come back out. Any tips on getting it out short of cutting and drilling it? I have to get these done tomorrow so I have a car for work and to go back to school Sunday.
