First post! Like that's important... VERY glad to see this site up and running, and getting a lot of good info from it. My car's an S13 with SR20 and a lot of other modifications. Hoping to see some familiar and new faces around here as the site grows. |

Hey peeps, good to see some familiar names here. Good names at that! People that contribute to the low signal to noise ratio around here |

And now, the oil pan. Picked up a Moroso oil pan to replace the Greddy knockoff I was using. And... it won't seal. I've installed it several times to no avail. This happened a few years ago with a Tomei pan, which I returned. The two pans that didn't seal have no groove around the mating surface of the flange, while the stock pan and the Freddy pan have the groove - and the grooved pans never leaked. Anyway, I hooked up a custom made gasket locally, cut from hi-temp silicone (the same stuff used for intercooler piping couplers and radiator hoses). I'm going to re-install it in the next few days, we'll see what happens. |

Gorgeous car, man. That's the color I would paint mine (if it came in a can...) The R32 wheels give me wood, too, but I know they're heavy and you can't get any decent 16" tires for them. |
