 I am new here and i was wondering if you guys could give me info on which one would be better for a 2000 honda ex. The b18c or B16a and why? the more info the better. also i was told to put a b18c with the b16a tranny is that a good combination??please give me your suggestions and why? thank you

B18C because there's no replacement for displacement and B16 trans because short gears and close ratios.

Go for the B18. The price is comparable and you get more power and more power potential. If you can find and afford a Type-R engine, then you will even be further ahead in the game.

B18C1, more displacement and a better flowing head. Slap a Hondata s300 and u are in the paint.
