post what you like, dislike, etc. or just show off your car

i'll start, mines an 08 Si with navigation and I must say i really do love it!

I like the car a lot, but my personal opinion is that its too big of a step away from what a Civic should be. Too big, too heavy and too expensive. If I was buying a car in that segment, I would lean more toward the WRX and Lancer Rallyart as a better bang of the buck. If honda made it the size of an EK.EG and put that K motor in it, I would be all over that!

Mike is just jealous that Hondas can turn better than Nissans... *Almost* all cars become heavier and squishier than their predecessor - at least Nissan went the right way with the 370Z.

Why not just get a eg or ek and put a k in it.

We have plenty of parts for you.

They hold their own in the Koni Challenge series.

And elsewhere too. For something that looks so unimpressive on paper, it's a damned fast car.

I'm a new 04 Si owner. The newer ones are too expensive in my opinion but I do like them. I needed a hatch and wanted a Honda that doesn't get a ton of attention.

I am sooo buying the ASP header and hondata flashpro... that should be a solid addition 30-45 horsepower but then again thats never been something really needed in this car I'm really having a hard time debating of my suspension stuff... I'm undecided between BC racing and Stance

 

08 Si Sedan.  Only modifications so far are the Enkei PF01's.  This is my one and only daily driver for a while so I'm not inclined to do anything to it for now.  It is a great handling car and a load of fun on the back roads running in the VTEC.  I think after the factory powertrain warranty runs out and I get another daily driver I'll keep this car and either turbo or super charge it.

Check out the suspension section in the forum.  I don't think those brands have a very good reputation at all among people who actually want performance as opposed to the "hellaflush" look.

I've learned a bunch since I posted that.. LOL

kw makes stuff for my car now, so i know which way to go now

Brand new owner of an '11 sedan as of 20 minutes ago. So where does one go to get the real lowdown on these things? I'm not ready to turn it into a race car yet, but I'd like to make it a bit personal. I'm thinking braided brakes lines first, then maybe the KWs. After thati don't know what.

8thcivic is a reasonably good site but with most honda forums post and believe what you read at your own discretion
