For those who follow Formula D, what do you think will happen this year?
I predict the following in no particular order who i think is gonna finish 1, 2, and 3 in 2011.
Vaughn Gitten Jr.
Dai
Chris Forsberg
Im really pulling for Matt Powers, and Fredric. They have a lot riding on their new setups and sponsors. |

Hard to tell with all the new cars coming out and the new tire rule, but I'm expecting more Falken dominance especially with Dmac/Tyler getting updated cars, Dai with more power, and JTP getting a new Mustang that will be the same as JR's championship-winning car. Expecting Forsberg, Tuerck, and maybe Hubinette to grab some podiums. |

I was at Top Drift this weekend and asked lots of people what they thought. I heard a lot of names, but it seems that Fredric Aasbo is a crowd favorite. |

I think Asabo is going to be saddled with new car blues which won't be sorted until mid season. I think Tureck is gonna have trouble with his big huge Camaro just because its big and huge.
I think Matt Powers and Mike Essa are going to do pretty well. Forsberg is going to do really well. Team Falken is going to dominate. |

I think Tuerck and the Gardella guys will find a way to make the Camaro work even though nobody seems to think that car can be competitive. Weren't people saying 240s were outdated and uncompetitive before you guys put together Dai's car? haha. |

I think big cars don't follow well although they can kick ass leading and in qualifying. Qualifying will be worth more points this year and the tire rule should help bigger cars. I talked to Tony Angelo yesturday and he said he might adjust tire sizes more during the season. The trie rule was made to help guys like Samuel, Gardella and Conrad and reign in cars like Tanner, Dmac and the old Gardella cars. It won't affect mid weight cars like ours, Essa, Powers, Berganholtz |

Interesting standings so far. Dai and Forsberg did well, but Matt and JT surprised everyone with podium finishes. Mike you and I are pretty close with predictions after the first event. |

I think we are sitting good for Atlanta and we will be testing more suspension stuff maybe next week to solve some minor problems. The car is a little twitchy during initiation on fast and flat entries and the car understeers when doing wheelies! We will have that fixed and Dai has Atlanta wired. We should have more mechanical grip as well.
Essa is suffering from new car blues but once sorted, his car will be pretty good. It makes 600 whp with no lag. He didn't finish his suspension in time for Long Beach but it should be together for Atlanta. Aasbo's car will be a major threat. It was far from sorted at Long Beach and look for it to come on strong at Atlanta. You can bet JR is pissed off and itching for some redemption. The rest of the Falken team is strong as well. Forsbergs car was not yet fully done or sorted. |

I just met JR in person over the weekend at a car show in PA and always wish him well, but I definitely have to say I root for Dai over everyone. I do also wish well for Aasbo, Powers, JTP, Foresberg (my PA guy), Essa, Gushi, Aono, and many, many others. I am truly a fan of the sport and just enjoy it...no matter who the driver/sponsor/car make/etc. is. |

Yeah, Dai had a killer lead run against Mohan. Just too aggressive on the follow run. That's unfortunate, but at least it looked like they were good enough to win if it wasn't for that mistake. |

He didn't understand me on the radio and went to hard during his follow run. His lead run was real good. Kyle went shallow to catch him right in front of the Judges. We were having a bad weekend overall. |
