oooh... tough question. The LAST thing i fixed was this morning at work, the lower panel of my desk fell out and dropped my GRMs and Matchbox cars all over the floor. On sunday I ran cable for secure internet access to my bedroom and master bathroom. Saturday I replaced a set of head gaskets on a Buick Rendezvous for a friend. I am limiting myself to one project a day. |

Removed and opened up the NSX transmission to replace the broken snap-ring and faulty outer housing that caused the snap-ring to fail. Then I put it all back together and bled the rear brakes only to find that the battery was dead. Jumped it hoping it would still hold a charge...of course it didn't so a jump was needed again at a gas station so that I could make it back home. On the way home I found that my brakes felt a bit spongier (word?) that I would have liked.
So after two weekends of work and 4 months with a non-running NSX, I found myself back in the garage replacing the battery and rebleeding my mushy brakes. Runs good now though . |

Now the needle valves in the Mikuni TM34's on my Aprilia RS250 have shit the bed filling up the expansion chambers with gas. Grrrrr. This is added to the f---ed up needle valves on my RD400 that filled up the case and pipes with gas. Why are all my bikes dying of the same thing? |

They run too rich and blubbery due to too much fuel. Hard to get to WOT. I think two strokes have weird harmonics that kill the needle and seat after about 7000 miles. Thats when they seem to die. |

Spent today working on the RS250 after I got done cooking. Cleaned out and rebuilt the carbs. The stupid rebuild kits cost over $100 each! Aprilia carbs have some parts not in common with your regular TM34 so you can't just get a kit cheap from Sudco. The cable for the forward cylinder power valve was kinked and out of its adjuster barrel and not closing all the way as well. Started with one half assed kick like it used to. It was getting hard to start. WOW, this thing must have been going bad for awhile, the throttle response is now quick two stoke goodness and the power and low end torque is back. The power had died away and by the looks of the plugs, the mixture gotten fat ofver about a thousand miles so I didnt notice until it got really bad. I did a few wheelies but realized I wasn't wearing a helmet. Damn two stroke GP bikes are fun but so fiddley. |

I need to fix my track slut and figure out where my driveline noises are coming from. But after playing turkey day football, my leg is hurtin', and my shoulders., back, etc. and eating a bunch of turkey, still have no motivation. Kyle and his family are here in Vegas for the weekend for his boy's football tournament. Maybe he will help motivate me to get it sorted out. Been putting if off for awhile. Having a old school sr20 geek visiting and talking about the last 10 years of SE-R conventions has sparked a small fire again to do something about it ! |

Put all the proper brake pad shims back in the 300ZX brakes on my GF's Sil80. Initial bite is less grabby now, and many of the clicky/poppy noises are gone. Not sure why we didn't put them in when we installed the pads/rotors...

Today I snowblowed 12" of heavy snow from my driveway and five of my neighbors, including the sidewalk all the way down the block. That's operating a small engine so it counts, right? |

Non car related... My other hobby is home theater/audio. I have been working on a dedicated room for the past 2 years on and off and am getting closer to finishing. Here's a quick pic. of it's current state.

Hey Wes, did you finish this project yet? i'm curious to see this setup in its finished state. Nice home build.

Still working on it George! It is now functional in that we can watch movies, listen to music. Still have quite a bit left to do but it is nice to actually be able to use it. I was working on it today actually tidying up some of the wiring in the rack and making a list of cables I need to order. Things I still have left to do....
Order 2nd row of seats and build riser
Get Carpet Installed
Finish acoustic treatments
Here is how it looks right now.
