I haven't done much research yet, but I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with Injector Dynamics (ID)? I was considering a set of ID1000s for my SR20, but want to make sure I get the best possible injector that I can afford. I'll be going from a set of 740CC Nismo/Tomei sidefeed injectors, so I'll need a new fuel rail as well. Anyone have any thoughts?

I COULD TALK FOR HOURS ABOUT PICKING THE RIGHT INJECTORS- RISING RATE FUEL REG WILL BE THE BETTER MOD FOR BOOST WICH INCREASES THE FUEL PRESSURE AST THE ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE INCREASES WITH BOOST, FUEL PRESSURE SET AT 30 PSI RUNNING 20 PSI OF BOOST REDUCES THE SPEED OF FUEL ENTRY WICH REDUCES VOLUMETRIC EFFICIENCY AND AFFECTS THE FLAME FRONT (BANG) WICH FORCES THAT PISTON DOWN AND LEADS TOO, LEAN SPOTS, DETONATION,AND SHIT POWER IF CHAMBER CC HEAD FLOW AND CAPACITY HASNT CHANGED CLEAN INJECTORS WITH A GOOD FLOW TEST AND SPRAY PATTERN SHOULD DO MORE THAN ENOUGH WITH THE SUPPORTING MODS SUCH AS FUEL PUMP AND ITS SUPPLY(LPM) and (FPR) applied fuel pressure @ the injector
changing the duty cycle that controls the duration the injector stays open will give more benefits this is at the the hands of a stand alone ecu and a tuner that understands the paticular engine and the engines build and dont crank up the pressure on a side feed the bastard will blow a seal on ya been there had the shit in my eyes and it aint fun

in reality they both accomplish the same thing. i had this same delema a few months ago and i decided that after the cost of injectors and a rail, it fast more economical to use my OE sr rail and nismo FPR that i had bought long before. as long as you choose a JEC/Denso based injector from a reputable manufacturer (nismo/tomei) you will be fine
