Beyond the Dyno - Rotary Love 16X
By Eric Hsu
I love rotary engines even though I do not currently own a rotary powered vehicle. I'm just taking a break I suppose. I'm all about 6 cylinders at the moment, but I still love rotaries. After the jump is why I love rotaries, Hydrogen rotaries, and some information on the up and coming "big block' 16X Mazda rotary engine.

Ask Sarah: Hi-po Eclectic Pistons
By Sarah Forst
I was at a car meet and overheard someone talking about hi-po eclectic pistons or something like that. I didn't want to ask him about them because everyone else seemed to understand what he meant. Are these high performance pistons? How are they different from regular pistons? - Jassen

One girl's story being Mike Kojima's love slave
This story was originally published a few years ago (pre-digital SLR camera for most of us obviously…), but is a wonderful tale of the kind of guy Mike Kojima is so I wanted to share the story with our MotoIQ readers. This is not a joke, but it was pretty funny!

Pro-stock style import drag racing is nearly dead in the US, but it's still going strong in Australia and New Zealand. Click to see build pictures of Mike Bradley's 4G63 powered pro-stock style drag EVO 8. Tons of build pictures inside and 3 videos inside also.
Some images and a summary of Cosworth's newly released VR38 stock stroke internal engine components. If you plan on modifying your GT-R for serious use, you need to read this. Dyno queen owners and show car owners need not read.
Rednecks on a Roadtrip
By: Aaron LaBeau
Our mantra at MotoIQ is more signal less noise. This article definitely falls into the more noise category. You've been warned! This is an adventure story filled with food (mostly pork), beer, Jack Burton and over 4,000 miles of road.
This year's World Time Attack Challenge is shaping up to be quite an exciting mix of cars. It looks like there will be plenty of cars from Japan to represent, the Aussies are definitely stepping up their cars for 2011, and there are rumors of two cars making the trip to Sydney from the USA. After the click, there's a preview video from the guys that run WTAC.
Fast Lap with Billy Johnson: Willow Springs International Raceway
by Billy Johnson
Willow Springs International Raceway (WSIR) is the oldest purpose-built road course in North America and has remained virtually unchanged since its creation in 1953. The 2.5mile nine-turn track earned its nickname from its medium to high-speed corners including the infamous Turns 8 and 9.
What are the pro's and con's of using gapless piston rings in a street motor?
