When last we left our project in Austin, Tx we we’re making a solid 8hp from our Fast Intentions Exhaust and 10hp from the Stillen Gen 3 Intake. Over our last few articles we have lots of pictures of Donny and James from UpRev turning wrenches and now master tuner Omar Izaguirre cracks his knuckles and goes to work on the tuning.
After pouring over forums and websites the only company I kept seeing the words 'you won’t regret it' was with Fast Intentions. While there are others in this market that make a great product, it seems with exhausts you need to make the choice of compromising comfort in terms of interior noise for that last bit of horsepower.
Stillen tried over 50 variations before settling on what they call their Generation 3 intake for the G37. Topped off with two large K&N filters this intake system passes through the core support to pull in big gulps of fresh air from the front of the car. We install and dyno test the intake and match it up with improved stopping in the form of a Stillen brake upgrade kit.
