Go fast Bits G-Force boost controller!
By Wes Dumalski
Our mates overseas at Go Fast Bits have been hard at work perfecting a new feature packed boost controller called the G-Force that has hit our shores! This cutting edge unit has all the bells and whistles any boost junkie could ask for. We recently put the G-Force through it's paces on Project 200SX in an effort to share our feedback with Go Fast Bits themselves..... Here are our impressions of the unit they sent us.

A job posting popped up the other day at Cosworth in Torrance for an engineering intern. Follow the link, read carefully, and send a resume.

Did you know Cosworth offers big bore gaskets for sleeved blocks? Look inside for pressure clamping load test results and imprints for Cosworth vs. other head brand head gaskets.

It's a good thing I have AAA Plus with 100 mile towing. After 22,000 super hard miles the SST transmission fails, but then again so would any other.

In today's automotive high performance market for Japanese vehicles, there are many companies that are basically wannabe JDM and motorsport companies. Often times they sport Japanese or JDM or motorsport sounding names, but in actuallity they are either knock off companies or companies that manufacture products in China with poor quality control. The fact of the matter is that no decent company with a lesson in business ethics would attempt to be anything else other than what they actually are

I've had this Dynojet 248C sitting over at XS Engineering for just under 3 years now. It's literally been sitting and hasn't been used for 3.5 years. XS has been using the 4 post lift on occasion, but they are moving soon and while I should have got off my ass and tried to sell the dyno, I did not.

I helped Vermont Sportcars spec the Cosworth components and some of the ancillaries selection, but the credit all goes to Vermont Sportcars for building a good car and to Ben Hoyle at Cosworth Electronics in Cambridge (UK) for the engine calibration with the ECPro. While Ben is no stranger to EJ engines (he was the head engineer for Prodrive's WRC engine development for the Subaru World Rally Team), it was Ben's first time to tune a full Cosworth engine. After the Baja300 event, Ben called me up and asked me in his fairly thick English accent, "What's that thing got in it? It makes some SERIOUS power." I said, "Naturally of course. It's got Cosworth power."

Fontana Nissan 350z Build
Fontana Nissan Racing put up some pics and text of the build of their Grand Am/Time Attack 350Z. It includes the build of their engine which includes a Cosworth 3.8L VQ35 stroker. For the link to their blog, check out my left navigation bar (I feel lazy today). Click here for the FONTANA NISSAN RACING TECHNICAL CORNER. They cover the in house build of the Cosworth 3.8L VQ bottom end, the chassis, and custom body panels. Chris and Jackson also developed the intake plenum and headers on their own, but they aren’t going to tell you all of their secrets. Jackson and his crew have been building race car...

Hi Octane Racing RB26 Dry Sump
I do get quite a few questions regarding RB26 dry sump oiling. I have stopped answering them because I feel like a broken record sometimes and then most people freak out on the cost in the end anyway. PLEASE CALL HIGH OCTANE RACING IN AUSTRALIA @ +61 2 9368 4643 or email them at sales@hioctaneracing.com.au. At AU$8180 it isn’t cheap, but dry sumps are a lot of work to fabricate. Check out the High Octane Racing site for more details. CLICK HERE for a detailed PDF on the dry sump kit.
