Two questions. First; why does Dai's car "die" so much when shifting to 5th? Should you change for a lower 5th gear? or there a problem with the powerband? In one of the corners he passes the RSX and as soon as it changes to 5th the RSX gets ahead.

Second: Mike, why do you have the wheel so slanted upwards? Is that the stock position or you modified it? I always find it uncomfortable to have the wheel with too much angle away from the vertical.

Dai's car doesn't have much power, the engine is tuned for torque and you can see his advantage coming off the turns. His car does suck on the oval. Sentra trannies don't have much for alternative ratios. We are going to change the cams on his car and do some tuning to try to get more top end for Willow Springs.

The steering wheel looks funny because of the wide angle lens I think. It is a racing steering column but it is pretty close to stock location.

Looks like fun! lol at the pass, then off course.

What are the engines revved to on both cars? Seems like a nail-biter in terms of engine reliability going that long at full-throttle and high RPM around the oval.
