In reality, they are actually very cost effective and can be tailored from mild to wild with ease. Want to make 350 horsepower or 1,500+? No problem. In this article we are going to explain the different levels of Coyote engine building. We teamed up with a host of manufacturers and L&R Engines to build us a Coyote engine for road racing duty on Project BOSS 302Revival.

Racewars 2018- Top Speed Racing Done the Australian Way!

by Blake Parry

Nestled in the Western Australian town of Albany, lies a runway – normally used for a quick transit to avoid the 5 hour drive from capital city Perth, or for handful of crop dusters and the local flying doctor service. Once a year, with the support of the local government and townsfolk, this airport is shut down, and transformed into what is now Australia’s only 1000m (3280ft) V-max event. This is Racewars.

Originally conceived by a group of WA locals over maybe one too many beers, Racewars is now in its 5th year, showing that a dedicated bunch of people, supported by a strong car community can achieve great things. Welcoming all comers – irrespective of vehicle type as long as it’s fast, to put man and machine to the test over 1000m of prime tarmac.

Radium Releases Catch Can Solutions for the Ford Fiesta ST

Industry Press Release

The Fiesta ST, like all direct injected engines, does not have port injectors to spray fuel on to the intake valves to help keep them clean of sludge and carbon. As a result, these engines can benefit greatly from an oil catch can, to help reduce oil and carbon buildup on the intake valves.

Depending on engine RPM and load, the crankcase ventilation system may experience air flow in either direction; out the PCV valve or out the crankcase ventilation port. For this reason, Radium Engineering has designed a catch can for both the crankcase vent line and the PCV line.

Ridden: Energica Eva Electric Motorcycle

Electric cars are already common place on the streets of many cities. In Los Angeles, you have to check your surroundings carefully should a quiet Model S, Model X, Model 3 (I’ve actually seen a handful now), i3, Bolt, Volt, Leaf, 500e, or bazillion Prii be sneaking by. Electric motorcycles are still working their way into more general acceptance. The line of motorcycles from Zero Motorcycle are probably the best known, but they basically the Prius of electric motorcycles, i.e. they are great for commuting but not exactly that exciting. Enter the electric motorcycles from Energica which are the equivalent Teslas.

LA Auto Show 2017: Nerd’s Eye View – Unique Cars, Engines, and Things

by Khiem Dinh

The LA Auto Show always has some unique new vehicles that budding automotive companies want to show off. For example, this new Saleen mid-engine and turbocharged car. The big OEMs sometimes like to show off a little flair too along with new technologies. Then there are the other random going-on stuff at the show which I find amusing.
