The car industry is back! The last decade has been a little like wheelspin at the line but we're finally getting some traction. The Las Vegas Convention Center was jam-packed with 60,000 weary enthusiasts drooling over the latest trends, crazy builds, and hottest products. Previously empty halls inviting a siesta were congested with manufacturers, cars that barely resemble their stock look, and the occasional fatigued booth model while attendees battled to swim upstream. Join MotoIQ for some autoerotica action!

 

Ford hottest boothI know, big surprise right- Ford gets three of a kind awards: Hottest Coupe (Mustang), Hottest Hatch (Focus), and Hottest Truck (F-Series).  Rounding out the awards are the Hottest Sedan (Dodge Charger) and Hottest SUV (Jeep Wrangler). 
Ford GT40This recently restored GT40 won Le Mans in 1966 with New Zealanders Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon behind the wheel. The RK Motors Charlotte and Rare Drive GT40 took 20 months and 4,000 hours and took “Best in Class” at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
Tucci Ford FiestaThe Tucci Hot Rods 2016 Ford Fiesta is equipped with a Full Race turbo kit, Cobb tunning Accessport V3, custom exhaust with Borla muffler, mountune LSD with 20″ Forgeline CF1 wheels wrapped in Falken RT615K rubber. JRI coilovers, Wilwood 6 piston brakes, TMR roll cage, Sparco Pro seats with Hans harnesses and Racepak IQ3S display completes this rally-style hatch.  
Blood & Grease Ford FocusThe Blood & Grease Focus ST concept features a matte black exterior and custom translucent red wheels with upgrades like Mishimoto intake, oil cooler kit, and J-Line intercooler.  JMS Chip and Performance Company provides the tune.
Ford Mustang GT4The Ford Mustang GT4 turnkey racecar debuted at SEMA. Based on the Shelby GT350R-C, this track ready 'Stang is not street legal but shares the same 5.2L flat crank V8 paired with a Holinger paddle shift six speed racing transmission. Multimatic suspension upgrades include DSSV dampers, rear lower control arm, and front and rear stabilizer bars. The wing is based on the Ford GTE race car wing plus enhanced splitter, rear diffuser, and additional hood venting.  A full FIA compliant roll cage, Bosch Motorsport engine and antilock braking control and MoTeC dash logger prep this GT4 for battle against the Porsche Cayman, BMW M4, and McLaren 570 GT4's. Drivers Scott Maxwell and Billy Johnson took the IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Championship title in 2016, it's first full year competing.
