Nissfest 2015: A Perfect Day for Nissan Lovers

Nissfest 2015: A Perfect Day for Nissan Lovers

Picture a sunny, Southern California day at a race track with a smorgasbord of Nissans, Datsuns, and Infinitis everywhere you look, with the not-so-feint sound of racecars in the distance. Sounds like a dream, right? Wrong! Nissfest proved itself to be the premiere event of the year for all Nissan owners and lovers alike.

The event took place at Fontana’s very own Auto Club Speedway. The combination of food trucks, contests and giveaways, a track day presented by Redline Time Attack, along with a car show hosting a diversity of homemade builds, street driven cars, and track machines, made a day that was fitting for all gearheads and their families.

We had a good time walking around and feasting our eyes on the different builds. Although there was such a unique display of vehicles, one common trait was apparent among the vehicle owners, attendees, and vendors – their undying passion for the Nissan, Infiniti, and Datsun platforms.

Throughout the day, hundreds of people flooded through the entrance to walk through the car show and vendor section.
The new Rocket Bunny Bosskit for the S14 has been a fan favorite. The well-kept vehicles and clean display continuously drew a crowd to the Powertrix Coilovers booth.
This 240SX that was on display at the Wilwood booth had a very nice Silvia front end on it. A functional car, with performance parts, along with the aesthetics proved to be a good combination. And who doesn't love a Silvia front end on an S-chassis?
Two pretty cool Nissans at the OS Giken booth that you don't see everyday (unless you happen to own an S15 or R32 Skyline).
