AEM Infinity ECU

The Infinity EMS represents a quantum leap in technological capability over virtually all existing engine management controllers available today and eases the tuning process for even the most sophisticated engine combinations. It is quite possibly the most advanced programmable engine controller available. Infinity EMS systems are available for vehicles up to 12 cylinders.

Infinity system base models are airflow based and feature various modes for calculating air flow. This eliminates many of the lookup and trim tables (Correction Tables) necessary in previous generation ECUs. The Infinity’s primary automotive MCU is a 200 MHz 32 bit processor which processes 400 MIPS (Millions of Instructions per Second). It calculates fuel injector pulsewidth in units of 1/10th of a microsecond and the software’s back-end ignition timing code is tested to 100,000 RPM. It includes up to 12 peak and hold injector drivers and up to 12 ignition outputs, dual internal wideband controllers, dual knock sensing circuits, drive-by wire capability, real-time sensor diagnostics and an internal engine simulator. It downloads up to 480 Mb/second and can data log channels at 1,000 samples/second. It is multi-fuel and Flex-Fuel compatible. The enclosure and connectors are sealed and suitable for engine bay mounting.

AEM has completely redesigned its Controller Modules for its Water/Methanol Injection Systems for easier installation and programming, and has added kit enhancements to improve system performance and simplify installation. AEM now offers water/methanol injection kits for high-compression naturally aspirated and forced induction race engines!

AEM offers two different water/methanol controller designs: a Boost Dependent controller (up to 35 PSI) with an on-board manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, and a Multi Input controller that works with an external 0-5v voltage-based external MAP sensor, a frequency based input for Injector Duty Cycle (IDC), frequency-based mass airflow (MAF), or a 0-5v voltage-based MAF, enabling users to install AEM’s Water/Methanol Injection Kit on both high compression naturally aspirated vehicles (NA) via the MAF/IDC settings and ultra-high boost vehicles (above 35 PSI) using an external MAP sensor.

AEM’s E85 Fuel Pump features robust internal construction that is designed to withstand the low lubricity characteristics of ethanol and methanol fuels, and has been tested to work with ethanol fuels up to E100, methanol fuels up to M100 and all types of gasoline. 

The AEM E85 Fuel Pump is designed for in-tank mounting and features a compact 39mm diameter that fits most applications. It features an offset inlet design that eases installation and includes a wiring harness, pre filter, internal fuel hose and clamps, end cap and rubber buffer sleeve. Every 50-1200 AEM E85 Fuel Pump is tested to flow 320 lph at 43 PSI before it is packaged for sale.

*Power rating given at 43 PSI, 13.5v at the pump with a BSFC of .5. Flow capability for horsepower support is ultimately dependent on fuel hose diameter, and system electrical voltage and amperage capabilities.

Two Functions in One Gauge! The Wideband Failsafe Device combines Wideband Air/Fuel Control with Boost/Vacuum in one gauge!
