Check out the CyberEVO the way nobody's covered it before. If you're an EVO owner, you can see how the Cyber team built this car and pretty much repeat what they did. There's nothing too drastic on this car and it's really just a combination and the total package that makes the car as fast as it is.

Part 2 of the Garage Revolution's Time Attack FD is after the jump. Since Jeff took over 800 pictures of this car, we had to pick the best of them and split the story into two parts. If you want to build the ultimate time attack car, study the following pages carefully and absorb the buffness that is the Garage Revolution FD RX-7.

Finishing in 3rd place at the 2011 World Time Attack in Sydney, Australia makes the Garage Revolution FD3S RX-7 the world's fastest time attack RX-7. Without a doubt, this car is also the world's nicest RX-7 road race build to date having been designed and built around sound race car principles and not the usual JDM hype. Even the engine program was developed in house on GR's own in house engine dynamometer. After the jump you can see for yourself that no detail was overlooked.
Yokohama Australia just released the video of Tarzan's fastest lap at the World Time Attack Challenge 2011 this past August at Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney, Australia. Video of Tarzan's record setting lap after the jump.
Now that the dust has settled from WTAC 2011 itself and the thrashing to prepare in the weeks prior to the event, I'm going to attempt to do an overview of the 10 fastest cars @ WTAC 2011. It seems there was plenty of coverage of the event and the cars on sites, blogs, picture hosting sites, etc. but nowhere could I find a summary of the 10 fastest cars in one place. Looking to build or bring a car to the WTAC 2012 Pro class? Look no further because this is your guide to your competition.
The Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge (WTAC) 2011 was a massive success for the promoters, competitors, fans, sponsors, and vendors alike. Ian, Nathan, Kyle, the announcers, and the volunteers who all make up the World Time Attack Challenge and Superlap Australia successfully put on the best damn Time Attack event anywhere in the world to date! But there were some controversies and I attempt to clear them up here.

World Time Attack Challenge 2011: Results

The 2011 World Time Attack Challenge wrapped up this afternoon with a fizzle rather than the fireworks we were hoping for from Team America. If you've been following our updates on Facebook you know USA's Sierra Sierra took a big lead earlier in the day with a 1:29.0240 lap at the expense of a head gasket. You also know a protest by the Cyber EVO crew alleging the only way a car as heavy as the Sierra Sierra EVO could turn a time that fast was if they were squeezing NOS added a little drama to the day. Head game or not, Tarzan responded with a blistering 1:28.8510 lap in the Cyber EVO--rumor has it at the cost of a turbocharger they had no replacement for.
World Time Attack Challenge 2011: Day 2- Friday Competition
Day one of competition is in the books! Weather was perfect, fans were out in force and the competition was fierce. The field of 100+ put on a great show as they pushed every limit of their cars. Records fell and only fractions of a second separate the top 3 cars in the Pro Class.
World Time Attack Challenge 2011: Day 1-Thursday Practice
We're back with another update from down-under. Today was the official World Time Attack Challenge practice day, but man was there a lot of activity at the track.
